Seth had a great weekend. He was FINALLY named Student of the Month. Each week the teachers choose a Student of the Week, someone who is an example. Then each month a Student of the Month is chosen from the pool. There are only 9 students chosen each year and so it is hard for the teachers. Abby was chosen in September, but Caleb and Seth's teachers both told us they deserved to be named it was just hard to narrow the pool. Well, long story short Seth's teacher called us 10 minutes before the ceremony Friday morning. We ran down to watch. He was definitely excited. They get to go out to lunch with the principal on Monday. He's hoping to get a caffeine drink!
P.S. Caleb deserves the award and his teacher has promised to make it up to him even though she never chose him.
Next, he had his Mini Tournament and shoot-out with the coaches for soccer. It was our first soccer game with nice weather during the whole Spring. I'm not sure why we don't have summer soccer in Idaho!
