Did you notice this year how Earth Day turned into Earth Week? The same thing seemed to happen to Seth's birthday. We celebrated with Jennie's family in Ogden last weekend. Then Jessica came up on Thursday night to spend the weekend with us. On Friday he did the Main Attraction thing we already posted. Saturday was the birthday party with friends. Jennie had a great idea and we took 8 of them to a movie, followed by slacklining and cake and ice cream. Saturday night was the birthday dinner. Our family tradition is that the birthday boy or girl gets to choose a restaurant and we all go out to eat. Because of all the stuff we'd already done, we told him to choose something simple, so he chose Subway. Finally, his actual birthday came today, so Grandpa Herb and Grandma Linda came up for cake (which Abby made) and ice cream.
His favorite present was a pair of sunglasses that he's probably sleeping in right now. We had another Idaho weather swing, so check out the difference 18 hours makes.
