How we love our cousins, let us count the ways.
Jason and Heidi and their kids have come to Idaho! Dan and Amy came up with their kids and we got to spend Sunday and Monday with all of them. The kids enjoyed the all the usual fun at Grandpa Herb’s … rides on the mule, jumping on the tramp, flushing out the kitties, going to the gravel pits and of course, the treat store. No stay at Grandpa’s is complete without the obligatory trip to the treat store. ( The “treat store” is the one gas station in Springfield that is also the post office. Hannah believes it exists only to sell bread and treats,)
We also gathered around the newly restored John Deere combine for family pictures. That’s right. I posed for pictures while eight months pregnant! It was hard to hide my enthusiasm, but I managed.
